Since starting the project in early October, I had really gotten into the flow of things in terms of setting up interviews and planning out how my research would slot into the human interest element I was pushing to portray in this documentary.
It's now Monday 9th November and we are seven-days into the second national lockdown which took effect on 2nd November. To add to the bad news, I have just received my positive coronavirus test. The symptoms have been in full force since last Friday and I have had to put my project on hold until I have made a full recovery.
This has interrupted my plan to do three interviews this week, the first with Katy Minter- the lead singer of her university-formed band, Sriracha People; the other two being with Brighton-based sound-engineer Leon Holder and lastly, the owner of The Brunswick pub in Hove.
Here's to a speedy recovery so I can get back on track with the project after my 10-day isolation period is up!
